Lady Siel, the Lady of Time, created the Fissure of Oblivion to serve as a secure stronghold for the memories of the ancient Archdaeva. Inside the Fissure, Daevas experience the aftermath of failed peace negotiations with the Balaur, which preceded the Cataclysm. The instance begins at the exact point in time that the Balaur have overtaken Orkia Fortress, the ancient Atreian stronghold. Daevas must battle formidable Balaur foes to reach a final encounter with the Shadow of Oblivion. Throughout the instance, Daevas must harness and master the way of the ancient Archdaevas’ various elemental transformations.

There are some interesting things to see during the journey through the stronghold. Upon arriving in Orkia Square, the roads are full of Balaur fighting with Atreian Protectors, and in the distance, Daevas will notice an intense battle taking place between the Empyrean Lord Kaisinel and the Dragon Lord Beritra in his dragon form. Daevas must navigate around a collapsed pathway to enter the Orkia ruins and take an elevator to finally enter the Spire, gaining access to the distorted memory seal and the Shadow of Oblivion that awaits.

Portals to the Fissure of Oblivion will be open from July 1 through July 22 to transport any brave Daeva willing to take on the challenge.
