A fun new Aion Webtoon was released this afternoon and is now available for you to check out in the Purple Lounge. “I’ve Got Better Things to Do but I Saved a Kid: Munin in Exile” is a short comic series based on the MMORPG Aion and featuring Munin, a core character found in the world of Atreia.

The first Aion webtoon was released in 2024 as a seven-part series—“I’ve Got Better Things to Do but I Saved a Kid.” It was a delight for the Aion community and brought back fond (and some maybe not so fond) memories players had of the famous Asmodian NPC named Munin, who was imprisoned in the Aldelle Village starter zone on the Asmodian side. Munin was a political dissident, a harsh critic of the ruling class, and a smart guy with lots of information to share. Fledgling Asmodians had to make several long treks to talk with him during the leveling up process before they were able to ascend and become Daevas. At some point, the Aldelle Village starter zone and available quests were updated and most of the “running back to Munin” parts were cut out, freeing Munin to become a quest giver for new players.
