NC America just announced the upcoming release of a brand new Classic based server for Aion! The new Aion Ascend server will launch on August 19th, 2025. The Ascend Server is free for all to access and play and offers some special features not found in any other version of Aion, including the ability to fly immediately and unrestricted throughout most areas in the game. On the Ascend server, players have the ability to wear any armors with no class restriction and kinah is the only form of currency, allowing players to earn everything needed just through gameplay. Important stat boosting items such as manastones and enchantment stones can be purchased through in-game merchants using kinah instead of the Aion shop.
