Hi! I’m Jade. In real life, I go by the name of Abby Hunter. I’m an author, editor, and apprentice to a publisher with multiple best-selling books. I appreciate all forms of creative expression, but the writing process is where the magic really happens for me. I enjoy building thought-provoking, engaging, and fun content for others to enjoy. I love Fantasy, Science Fiction, Romance, Mystery, Horror, Action/Adventure, Crime, and Literary Fiction. I have developed a deep respect for the Nonfiction genre as well.

My favorite authors are too numerous to list; however, I have a special interest in Gothic and Cosmic Horror, and I’m a superfan of H.P. Lovecraft, who developed a unique and influential style of horror that has had a lasting impact on the sci-fi and horror genres even to this day. Edgar Allen Poe is another of my favorites. The emotional depth of his stories, and his uncanny ability to probe into the complexities of the human mind and express that in writing is unparalleled.

Besides writing, I’m an avid gamer with a special interest in the fantasy and MMO genres. I typically play games that involve interesting storylines or character and world building. I play a variety of games, some solo and some with others, but I enjoy the social aspect found in online games the most. I currently play an Asmodian Cleric named Jade and a Songweaver named Jeda on my original Collector’s Edition account in Aion LIVE NA. Originally released in 2009, Aion is a free-to-play MMORPG published by NCSoft. This game has a fun and immersive fantasy environment. It features dynamic solo and group PvPvE content, special events, a diverse and vibrant community, and has a unique style that truly sets it apart from any other game I have played.
